Professor Peter Burke (Emeritus Professor of Cultural History, Emmanuel College, Cambridge) will give a talk entitled, ‘Exiles and Expatriates in the History of Knowledge’. A response will be provided by Prof Raymond Gillespie (Maynooth University) and Prof Marian Lyons will act as the chair. All are welcome.
The lecture is co-hosted by the Irish Association of Professional Historians and the National Library of Ireland.
