Launch Oceanic Connections: The Sea in Irish and Caribbean Poetry by Ellen Howley

You are warmly invited to celebrate the publication of Oceanic Connections: The Sea in Irish and Caribbean Poetry, by Irish Humanities Alliance board member, Ellen Howley.

Oceanic Connections is a first-of-its-kind comparative study of Anglophone Irish and Caribbean poets who write widely about the sea, published by Syracuse University Press.

The book will be launched by Prof. Eugene McNulty on 16th October 2025, 6pm, followed by a wine reception hosted by the School of English in the Belvedere Library, DCU St Patrick's College Campus, Drumcondra, D09 DW93.
